FFA(Future Farmers of America)

Nathaniel (Fox) Prewitt

The National FFA Organization or Future Farmers of America is a non-profit organization that helps teach middle school and high school students about agriculture. At Berthoud High School, Mrs. Lum is in charge of the FFA. The FFA also offers grants and scholarships to its members as well as non-FFA members for local engagement programs and scholarships for academic achievements and career goals. Despite being called Future Farmers of America, the FFA is not just for students looking to become farmers. FFA also welcomes members who are looking at careers as teachers, doctors, scientists, and more. If you are interested in the FFA contact Mrs. Lum via email or check out the FFA website https://www.ffa.org.

Due to the pandemic the majority of the FFA events have been canceled, the only event still planned to be held in Berthoud is their Christmas Party. The party is to be held on December 15, 2021. The FFA is planning to have a normal spring in 2022, no events have been canceled yet, and are looking forward to hosting them.
