The ACT or SAT is a test that anyone who’s gone to high school in the United States has taken at least once. For the longest time, they were required to get into any state college. However Recently Colleges have been relaxing their almost air-tight requirement for ACT/SAT’s to be a serious thing to look at before considering you. A study done in 2022 has come back with results saying that 1,600 four-year colleges will no longer be requiring Students to submit ACT/SAT scores. Considering that there are only 2,330 Bachelor’s degree institutions in the US, that would mean that over half of the four-year colleges do not think that ACT/SAT scores are a hallmark of a student’s intelligence.
