Grandpa’s Diner Food Review

Grandpa’s dinner is a go-to place for Berthoud residents looking for a nice sit-down meal. It is located to the right of Hays Market. I decided to go and check out this restaurant for myself. What I will be judging is the wait time, the waiters, and the food.

As we walked into the restaurant we were greeted by a waitress who said we can find a seat anywhere we like. We sat down and waited for waitresses to notice us and ask us what food we wanted to order. Now normally I wouldn’t get upset at the wait time for waitresses to get to you but this was a different case, there were only two other people in the restaurant and three free waiters. It took them around fifteen minutes to finally notice us take our order. Next, we ordered, we both got burgers with fries. This isn’t a complex meal but it took them almost thirty minutes to bring the food out, the food was burnt with very little cheese on it and after me and my friend were obviously done we had to wait another ten minutes for the waitress to bring out the bill. The food was okay but the wait times were subpar, I’d rate the grandpa’s dinner 3/10.
