Nathaniel (Fox) Prewitt

Nathaniel (Fox) Prewitt, Feature Writer, Reporter

Fox Prewitt, in his last year at Berthoud High School as a senior. This is the first time Fox has been writing articles for anyone. Fox does not do any sport or after school activities at Berthoud High School. He is very busy working full time at Pizza Hut while still attending school. He has been working at Pizza Hut ever since he turned 16.

Fox Prewitt is interested in computers, longboarding, camping, and music. Fox built his first computer when he was 13 years old, and has built around one computer a year since then. He also has expanded his horizon by picking up longboarding in his off time. Fox tends to go camping for weeks at a time traveling to Canyonlands near Moab or all the way up to Idaho traveling across the Snake River. Fox also listens to tons of different music like The White Stripes, Kanye West, Mac Miller, and many other artists.

Fox Prewitt not only likes to go camping but travel as well. He has been out of the country a few times. In middle school he went to Amsterdam, Paris, and Ghent. His most recent trip out of the country was to Scotland in Edinburgh then to England and stayed in London. Fox plans to travel a lot more after school and go back to Amsterdam this upcoming summer.

Fox Prewitt plans to co-host with Tyler Holden, Andrew Hargett, and Alex Perricelli. The podcast will consist of modern news on music, cars, and technology. There will be a new podcast episode once every week or two. The Podcast will have guest speakers to bring new voices to the public.

The latest book Fox has read is “A Brief History in Time” by Stephen Hawking. The book is about different theories in time and space. Stephen Hawking talks about things like black holes, the evolutions of theories, wormholes, and lots of different observations about natural laws in the universe. Fox highly recommends this book to others if they have the slightest interest in space. The book is very easy to understand so anyone can read it without being confused. Another big author that has influenced Fox Is Edward Abbey. Edward Abbey has written many books about nature and his philosophy. One of Fox’s favorite quotes from Abbey is “Growth for the sake of growth is the ideology of the cancer cell.”

In the future Fox is looking to go to a four year college. He narrowed his colleges down to Colorado State University, Western State Colorado, and Fort Lewis. He wants to go to college for Computer Science and wants a college near the mountains so on the weekend he can go camping.
